We come together socially many times during the year. All of our time together is a way for us to share and grow together in God’s love.
Fellowship Committee – The focus of this committee is to provide fun and free events for all members of St. Mary’s and their guests. The committee meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at St. Mary’s. We currently host about eight events through the year. Past events include a holiday movie night, open mic night, parish wide birthday party, euchre night, and a month of gratitude. The committee is always looking for new members!
Coffee Hour – After each service on Sunday all are welcome into the fellowship hall for coffee and a snack. Hosting duties for coffee hour are voluntary and many families help to keep this wonderful tradition going.
Bible Study – Coming together to discuss God’s word is an important part of our walk with God. There is a Tuesday morning Bible study group that meets at the church at 10:00 am. Other Bible study groups are formed as the need and interest arises. For more information please contact the Parish Office.
Book Group – This dynamic group of readers meets monthly for discussion and fellowship centered around a book of their choosing. The book selection is announced to the congregation each month. All are welcome, monthly attendance is not required.
Spiritual Stitchers –This group meets monthly and has been the knitting force behind our Prayer Shawl ministry. We welcome those of all skill levels to help us create art to share.
Boy Scouts – Troop 128 has been a part of the outreach ministry of St. Mary’s since 1975. The troop is not exclusive to St. Mary’s, and is open to all who would like to participate. While several St. Mary’s families have enjoyed and supported the scouting program there are many families from outside our community who are part of the troop. Troop meetings are held on Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8:30. For more information please email scoutmaster@lotroop128.org
