In keeping with tradition here at PubTheo (where we love our traditions!), we’re taking this week off so that folks can mark Shrove Tuesday, what other, less enlightened people call Mardi Gras. Ordinarily, we’d be inviting everyone to join us at St. Mary’s to eat pancakes for supper, served up by our good friends from Scout Troop 128, but once again the pandemic rears its ugly head to prevent us from celebrating together.
Not to worry though, there’s a plan for that! Here’s what St. Mary’s has planned for what will hopefully be the last pancake supper of the pandemic:
This year, once again, we must refrain from holding our Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner in the Fellowship Hall. But that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy pancakes together! Instead, we invite you to whip up your fanciest pancakes, throw on your Mardi Gras beads, crazy hats, or whatever silliness you can muster, and join us for a Zoom Shrove Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1.
We will be back to our regular schedule next week.
