Sunday School

Our Sunday school program is for children from kindergarten to 5^th grade. There are currently three different classes: kindergarten and 1^st grade, 2^nd and 3^rd grade, and a 4^th and 5^th grade classroom. Each class has between two and ten children in attendance.

Sunday school runs concurrent with the 10:00 a.m. church service. Sunday school starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at roughly 10:40 a.m. This means that the children are together in the parish hall for the first half of the service, during the daily readings, the Gospel, and the sermon. Then all the families are reunited for the Eucharistic prayer, communion, and the closing prayers and hymns.

All of our teachers are volunteers and there is no fee for Sunday school.

Our curriculum follows the church year lectionary. The lessons the children are listening to and learning about are the same readings that the adults are listening to during the church service.
