Pastoral Care
Clergy and parishioners share in this ministry to bring spiritual and emotional support in times of need. Through our work together comes healing, renewal and growth, modeled on the life and ministry of Christ.
Pastor Chris and members of the congregation assist in Pastoral Care in several ways:
- Hospital Visitation The Pastor makes calls to people when they are in the hosiptal provided they or the family informs the church that a loved one is in the hospital.
- Women's Group We have a wide age range within our members and women are welcome with or without a Church connection to meet, participate in the activities offered and enjoy the fellowship.
- Men's Group The Group is set up in such a way that members can come along and enjoy the activities whenever they are able to - not to feel that the need to attend every meeting but to feel that they will be welcomed each and every time they come.
- Pre-marriage Counseling The sessions will cover genreal topics like God's design for marriage, reviewing personal histories and issues and the ceremony itself.
- Newsletter St. Mary' has a monthly news letter to inform members of upcoming events and to provide article for their spirtual growth.
- Coffee Hour Following each of the Sunday services, a coffee hour provides a time of fellowship. Members of the parish volunteer to prepare the beverages and snacks.
